The Supreme Court has closed suo motu contempt proceedings against YouTuber Ajay Shukla after he offered an unconditional apology for “defamatory” remarks against a former judge. Justices Dipankar Datta and Satish Chandra Sharma accepted the apology but warned Shukla against future misconduct, stating any recurrence would face severe consequences.
